I was wondering if there was a software solution to make transferring all of the data from one smartphone to another easy and simple to do. I was looking for how to backup iphone that I could do myself. I did not want to pay for an additional carrier service, nor did I want anyone at the phone store to do this for me. I am not comfortable with people poking around with my data on my phone. Those employees at the retail phone stores could all be completely honest and trustworthy, but they could also not be. I cannot tell, so I do not want to take the chance.
I just want my photos, contacts and other data automatically transferred from my old phone to my new one. I figure that since they are both using the Android operating system that it should not be a big deal. You would think that this would be a universal and seamless process if you stick with the same type of phone on your upgrade to a new one. Not necessarily the same model but the very same operating system. I could see there potentially being a problem if you were switching operating systems. It should not be a problem to transfer all of your old smartphone data even if you are switching carriers.
I figured there had to be an app or some way of easily swapping recovery data from your Android phone to a new one with just a few taps on the screen. There are some very powerful apps out there. I imagine that a company that has made an app to transfer data from an old phone to a new one with no problems would be able to earn a good amount of money even if they just sold it for change. With all of the millions of customers routinely doing phone upgrades, they should be able to clean up!
